This event also marks the grand opening of our new location – Blue Lagoon – at CanadInns Club Regent. Weekend consists of Friday night social and workshops with the duo on Saturday.

We’ve been busy over the week or so and have just uploaded a bunch of Salsa Explosion performance videos that have been taken at different events in Winnpeg over the past 2 years. Salsa Explosion is organizing a fundraising social for one of the brightest young smiles in our latin dance community whom unfortunately just found out that she has breast cancer. SEDC is lending a helping hand and with all of your support we’re helping her to raise the funds required for treatment by putting on a social at Tijuana’s (corner of St. Matthew’s & Empress) with showcases, 50/50 raffle and collection of donations. ‘Just BUST a Move’ is open to the public (18+) and we hope that everyone will come out and suppport our dear friend. Due to the busy holiday season upon us – Holiday Office Parties, gift shopping, food/event preparation and family get-togethers Salsa Explosion will NOT be offering the Monday evening bachata/chachacha classes during the month of December.

As for the Sunday & Wednesday salsa classes, both these classes will continue to be offered throughout the month of December. The only cancellation will be on Sunday, December 26th.

A new schedule will be posted for the new year shortly so stay tuned!

Salsa Explosion is pleased to announce that beginning this November we will be offering bachata/chachacha classes on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 pm. These all-level classes will be held at Patricia’s Ballroom & Banquet Hall and are only $10/person to drop-in.
