Salsamor & Bachata Competition

Two divisions – ProAm and Amateur – Register today! If you don’t have a partner let us know and we might be able help you find a partner!

Our Valentine’s event will also feature performances and the hottest Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Chachacha, Reggaeton and other latin music styles in Winnipeg.

Aug/Sept Class Cancellations

Sunday evening salsa classes for both August 28th and September 4th are being re-scheduled for Monday August 29th from 7:30-9:00pm and September 5th from 7:00-8:30pm respectively, due to studio unavailability on these days. These changes are only for the two weeks specified and does not affect any other drop-in classes taught by Salsa Explosion at Patricia’s.

Come join Salsa Explosion in our annual Salsa Fiesta event. This year we will be featuring international guests: Ana & Joel of Masacote Entertainment (based out of Boston). This event also marks the grand opening of our new location – Blue Lagoon – at CanadInns Club Regent. Weekend consists of Friday night social and workshops with the duo on Saturday.

Performers include: Masacote, Salsa Explosion Semi-Pro + Amateur and more…

Just BUST a Move

Salsa Explosion is organizing a fundraising social for one of the brightest young smiles in our latin dance community whom unfortunately just found out that she has breast cancer. SEDC is lending a helping hand and with all of your support we’re helping her to raise the funds required for treatment by putting on a social at Tijuana’s (corner of St. Matthew’s & Empress) with showcases, 50/50 raffle and collection of donations. ‘Just BUST a Move’ is open to the public (18+) and we hope that everyone will come out and suppport our dear friend. Tickets for the event are only $10! Donations accepted at anytime. Please use VIP entrance

DECEMBER CLASS CANCELLATIONS

Due to the busy holiday season upon us – Holiday Office Parties, gift shopping, food/event preparation and family get-togethers Salsa Explosion will NOT be offering the Monday evening bachata/chachacha classes during the month of December.

As for the Sunday & Wednesday salsa classes, both these classes will continue to be offered throughout the month of December. The only cancellation will be on Sunday, December 26th.

A new schedule will be posted for the new year shortly so stay tuned!

NEW CLASSES

Salsa Explosion is pleased to announce that beginning this November we will be offering bachata/chachacha classes on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 pm. These all-level classes will be held at Patricia’s Ballroom & Banquet Hall and are only $10/person to drop-in.
